About Me

I am an AI and software engineer based in Brussels. I grew up in Gerpinnes, just outside Charleroi. Mom was a teacher and dad an engineer, learning and building things were part of everyday life (Yes, I must have cost them a fortune in Lego).

I was the quiet kid with an overactive imagination, spending as much time reading books and dressing up as I did playing video games. At six, Pokémon Sapphire convinced me that video games were the greatest thing ever (3rd gen, best gen) and I have yet to quit playing any kind of RPG.

A few years later, I started music theory and picked up the guitar, but these days, you'd be unlucky to hear me playing. I still compose music from time to time and although most of it never escapes my hard drive, I am hoping to share some creations here eventually.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning languages, trying new restaurants, cooking new recipes, spending time with friends, both on and offline, usually over a good Belgian beer, before disappearing down whatever rabbit hole has captured my curiosity that week.

Every now and then, I end up thinking a little too much about life, society, technology, and the odd things people do. This little corner of the internet is where I collect those thoughts, along with a few projects and things I've learned along the way.
